Previously, Ad Goat allowed you to post classified ads on the Internet. Problem was, the software we were using to power it was entirely inadequate for the task. Rather than continue patching and rewriting the old system, we decided to take the web site down and build our own system.
We have lots of plans for this new system, which I will be detailing as this project moves forward. There is still a lot to decide, but I can tell you this: The system we build will generate standards-based code and will have a templating system.
Ad Goat will be the project site for this new system. We probably won't run our own classified ads site anymore. Instead, we will focus on providing others with the tools they need to publish quality web sites.
